What will the role entail?

The main accounting activities will be:

• Review, Control, and analysis of Sales & Margins entries.
• Payroll: Process and reconcile the payroll with HR on a monthly basis.
• General ledger provisions: rent, rates, and more.
• Stock control and provisions.
• Reconcile fixed assets of the company to ensure all the CAPEX of the company is up to date and following the accounting and company rules.

Furthermore, you will: 

• Prepare Group Intercompany Reconciliations.
• Coordinate with Accounts Payable and Cash Accounting to ensure the accuracy of the information submitted.
• Submit VAT, Intrastat, and other tax reports on a monthly/quarterly basis.
• Ensure that all Balance Sheet GLs are reconciled on a monthly basis.
• Prepare and analyze monthly management accounts following the required standard of presentation (Sales & Margins, Stocks, Overheads, Balance Sheet).
• Assist with the preparation Budget/Forecast of the company.
• Responsible for preparation Spanish Group Reporting pack.
• Prepare in conjunction with the Group finance manager the Statutory annual financial statements of the company.
• Work to achieve the deadlines for the company.
• Prepare ad hoc analysis and participate in the projects of the Group.
• Liaise with other Finance Managers and other department managers.
