What will the role entail?
The main accounting activities will be:
- Review, Control, and analysis of Sales & Margins entries.
- Payroll: Process and reconcile the payroll with HR on a monthly basis.
- General ledger provisions: rent, rates, and more.
- Stock control and provisions.
- Reconcile fixed assets of the company to ensure all the CAPEX of the company is up to date and following the accounting and company rules.
Furthermore, you will:
- Prepare Group Intercompany Reconciliations.
- Coordinate with Accounts Payable and Cash Accounting to ensure the accuracy of the information submitted.
- Submit VAT, Intrastat, and other tax reports on a monthly/quarterly basis.
- Ensure that all Balance Sheet GLs are reconciled on a monthly basis.
- Prepare and analyze monthly management accounts following the required standard of presentation (Sales & Margins, Stocks, Overheads, Balance Sheet).
- Assist with the preparation Budget/Forecast of the company.
- Responsible for preparation Spanish Group Reporting pack.
- Prepare in conjunction with the Group finance manager the Statutory annual financial statements of the company.
- Work to achieve the deadlines for the company.
- Prepare ad hoc analysis and participate in the projects of the Group.
- Liaise with other Finance Managers and other department managers.
